Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
