The assault caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
